National Public Lands Day, September 26, 2015
The Friends of the Stones River National Battlefield joined the Stones River National Battlefield and several other organizations thank the 74 volunteers who joined us and our partners Saturday morning for National Public Lands Day. We cut and treated almost 6,000 invasive exotic plants, creating new opportunities for the public to enjoy the natural and historic features of Old Fort Park and Fortress Rosecrans.
